Announcement of the Opening of Nominations for Academic Board Membership The Faculty of Science and Technology announces the opening of nominations for renewal of academic board membership for the following departments: 1. Department of Materials Sciences 2. Department of Mechanical Engineering 3. Department of Civil Engineering As well as their representation on the Faculty’s Academic Council, this period will run from May 27, 2025, to June 9, 2025. Nomination applications are submitted electronically via the nomination platform via the following link: Registration link for the nomination platform for academic board membership Important Notes Regarding the representation of assistant professors on the Faculty’s Academic Council, all assistant professors in all departments of the Faculty are eligible to apply. Regarding thesis/dissertation manuscripts: Use MLA or APA formatting styles as per the templates attached to this message. Each thesis must include at least one citation (article) from Abbas Laghrour University of Khenchela. Supervisors and thesis defense committee are responsible for enforcing this directive. Mandatory inclusion of Abbas Laghrour University of Khenchela’s name in scientific articles. Submission of scientific articles by teaching staff to Ms. Djamila Chergui. Key Dates for the Academic Year 2024/2025 Pedagogical Calendar Please find below the key dates for finalizing the pedagogical calendar of the academic year 2024/2025, as follows: Exit period: From May 15, 2025, to May 27, 2025. Submission deadline: From May 28, 2025, to May 31, 2025. Exam paper grading phase: From May 28, 2025, to May 31, 2025, with the mandatory preparation of a calendar published on May 27, 2025, to be adhered to by the concerned professors (the calendar is prepared by the department administration in coordination with the Vice-Deanship of Pedagogy). Enter all grades on the digital platform by Thursday, May 29, 2025. Closing date: January 1, 2025. Departure period: From January 2, 2025, to January 5, 2025.
