Commemorating National Martyr’s Day
Commemorating National Martyr’s Day In commemoration of National Martyrs’ Day, observed on February 18th, Professor Abdelwahed Challa, Director of Abbes Laghrour University Khenchela, participated this morning in the ceremonies held under the auspices of the Governor of the province. The commemoration began at the Martyrs’ Cemetery in Khenchela, where the flag was raised, the national anthem played, a wreath laid, and the opening chapter of the Quran (Al-Fatiha) recited in remembrance of the martyrs’ pure souls, in fulfillment of their pledge and in perpetuation of their sacrifices. Enhancing the university’s digital presence
Minutes of the Local Committee Meeting for the Promotion of Visual, Classification, and Digitalization Date of Meeting: February 17, 2026 Agenda: The meeting focused on monitoring the implementation of the sectoral strategy for the digitalization of the higher education sector and enhancing the university’s digital presence. The following technical files were reviewed and addressed: 1-Digital Presence Governance: Implementing the attendance management platform across all university faculties to ensure real-time monitoring. 2-Interdisciplinary Ranking: Reviewing and compiling benchmark statistics for faculties to support the university’s positioning in global interdisciplinary research rankings. 3-Administrative Digital Transformation: Finalizing the software configuration for the “Employment and Salary Certificate” module and approving its full integration into the digital payroll platform. 4-Web Presence Development: Enhancing the website’s efficiency by updating cloud data and enabling automatic technical synchronization of translated content and media. 5-Pedagogical Evaluation: Refining the outlines of the annual plan for pedagogical outcomes (2024-2025) for the various faculties. 6-Social digital services: Final technical touches are being put in place in preparation for the official launch of the social services platform....اقرأ أكثر

CongratulationsI am pleased to extend, on my behalf and on behalf of the Deanery of the Faculty of Arts and Languages at the University of Khenchela, my sincerest congratulations and best wishes to the entire college family: distinguished professors, diligent students, and staff and administrators. I also convey the highest expressions of congratulations to the entire university community and to the entire Islamic nation, asking Allah Almighty to make it a month of goodness, blessing, safety, and security. Ramadan is not merely an occasion on the calendar; it is a significant spiritual station in which we equip ourselves with the values of patience and benevolence, renew our commitment to knowledge and work, and reflect on the university’s mission in building human character, raising awareness, and instilling ethics. It is also an opportunity to deepen the spirit of solidarity and cooperation among the members of the university family, reflecting the noble purpose of our scientific and humanitarian mission. We ask Allah, the Almighty, to help us in fasting and performing prayers, to bless the efforts of our professors, to grant success to our students, to guide our administrators, and to make it a month of achievement and success. May He bring it back to us, our beloved country, and the Islamic nation for many years and long times filled with goodness, prosperity, and blessings. Results of the Creative University Competition
The Creative Pen Club of the Faculty of Arts and Languages participated in the “Creative University Competition” organized by the Qomra Media Club. The competition focused on producing the best audio podcast documenting the life and legacy of the martyr Abbas Laghrour, held in commemoration of National Martyr’s Day (observed annually on February 18th). The Creative Pen Club secured the top two positions, with the honors going to: First Place: Manal Abdelrazzak – Member of the Creative Pen Club, Faculty of Arts and Languages. 4e Edition du prix international UNESCO-Russie Mendeleev en sciences fondamentales Pour fin de diffusion à l’ensemble de la communauté universitaire et de recherche, j’ai l’honneur de vous informer du lancement de l’appel à candidature pour la 4e édition du Prix international UNESCO-Russie Mendeleiev en sciences fondamentales. Créé en 2019 par le Conseil exécutif de l’UNESCO, le Prix international UNESCO-Russie Mendeleïev en sciences fondamentales, dont ci-joint le statut, vise à promouvoir et à récompenser l’excellence dans les sciences fondamentales, notamment la chimie, la physique, les mathématiques et la biologie, qui sont essentielles pour faire progresser l’innovation et le développement durable. Il vise à reconnaitre des réalisations majeures en matière de développement, de diffusion et de coopération internationale dans le domaine des sciences fondamentales. L’UNESCO invite ses États membres, dont l’Algérie, en consultation avec leurs commissions nationales, les organisations non gouvernementales entretenant des relations officielles avec l’UNESCO et actives dans les domaines couverts par le prix, les chaires UNESCO, les centres de catégorie 2, les unions scientifiques internationales et les universités à proposer des candidats individuels pour la 4e édition du Prix international UNESCO-Russie Mendeleïev en sciences fondamentales. Dans ce cadre deux (02) lauréats seront récompensés d’un montant de 250.000 USD chacun. La candidature à ce prix doit se faire par biais de la commission nationale , au plus tard le 15 mars 2026.
