Honoring Top Students of the Science and Technology Department

In an initiative reflecting the faculty administration’s commitment to encouraging scientific excellence and academic achievement, Professor Hanachi Bouzid, Head of the Science and Technology Department, supervised today a ceremony to honor the top students across various specializations. The event was held in the presence of Professor Dean Falek Mokhtar, Dean of the Faculty, and the official in charge of Cultural and Scientific Activities. The recognition included a group of distinguished students who excelled throughout the academic year and achieved commendable results. New Digital Platforms Launched at Khenchela University   As part of the regular meetings dedicated to monitoring digitization efforts and enhancing the university’s global ranking, the following agenda items were addressed and discussed: 1-Google Scholar Ranking: Receiving updated lists from the various faculties and forwarding them to Ms. Bediaf Leila to finalize the annual report for 2025. International Rankings: Analyzing and discussing data related to the QS World University Rankings. 2-Sectoral Statistics: Presenting detailed digital data for each faculty (student, faculty, and administrative staff). 3-Human Resources Digitization: Monitoring the progress of linking employee data to their dedicated digital platform and evaluating the rate of issuing electronic salary certificates. 4-E-Learning (Moodle): Presenting statistical data on the activity and use of the Moodle platform. 5-Activating the Absences Platform: Completing the entry of remaining data for the faculties. 6-Preparing student and faculty lists (in Arabic and French) and assigning groups and classrooms to ensure the platform’s effective launch. 7-Deliberation Platform: Emphasizing the necessity of including exam grades in the digital deliberation minutes platform.   Minutes of the Meeting for Discussing the Foundation Project A planning meeting to discuss the “Foundation Project”, aimed at enhancing integration and positive interaction between the university and its social and economic environment, was held on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at one-thirty in the afternoon (13:30) at the Faculty of Science and Technology. The meeting was chaired by the Dean of the Faculty, in the presence of a distinguished group of faculty professors. The discussion centered on the core of the project and its strategic objectives, which are: Linking university life with the external environment. Achieving a mutually beneficial exchange relationship: where the environment serves the university and the university serves the environment. Creating positive interactions and building fruitful partnerships. During the meeting, the eight foundational pillars of the project were reviewed and discussed. These pillars cover multiple areas such as applied research, technology transfer, continuous training, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility. These pillars received positive and constructive engagement from the attendees, with an exchange of views and practical suggestions to enrich each pillar and ensure the project’s success in achieving its intended goals. The meeting concluded with the attendees emphasizing the paramount importance of this initiative and its pivotal role in enhancing the university’s position as a key developmental actor in its surroundings. Appel à projets pour établissements ­ À l’occasion du lancement de l’appel à projets Erasmus+ 2026, le Bureau National Erasmus+ Algérie invite les établissements d’enseignement supérieur, de recherche, de formation professionnelle et de jeunesse à soumettre leurs propositions pour les catégories suivantes : Projets de mobilité internationale: Mobilité académique (ICM), facilitant les échanges des étudiants et du personnel universitaire. Échanges virtuels, favorisant la collaboration numérique et l’apprentissage interactif. Échanges de jeunes, destinés à promouvoir le dialogue interculturel et l’engagement des jeunes. Projets de coopération: Projets de renforcement des capacités dans les domaines de l’enseignement supérieur (CBHE), de la formation professionnelle (CBVET) et de la jeunesse (CBY), pour soutenir le développement institutionnel et sectoriel. Formations Erasmus Mundus, incluant les Masters conjoints et les mesures de conception, visant à renforcer l’excellence académique.
